- An Access to Work grant helps pay for practical support if you have a disability, health or mental health condition so you can start working, stay in work, or start your own business.
- Radar Keys, The National Key Scheme (NKS) gives people with disabilities access to around 7,000 public toilets around the country.
- Ninewells Hospital Scooters and lightweight wheelchairs can now be booked for use the hospital. Users first need to register and undergo training. More information and booking are available by phone on 01382645030 (Monday – Friday 8.30 – 4.30). There is no charge for the hire.

Telephone (01382 228525) to book electric scooter, wheelchair or manual wheelchairs, with volunteer escort, if required. Also temporary home-loans of manual wheelchairs can be arranged. There are designated parking spaces available.
