  • Disabledgo are the leading provider of access information for disabled people in the UK, featuring over 120,000 places of interest. Every single venue featured has been visited in person by one of their own specialist surveyors.

  • Parking in centre of Dundee
  • An Access to Work grant helps pay for practical support if you have a disability, health or mental health condition so you can start working, stay in work, or start your own business.
  • Radar Keys, The National Key Scheme (NKS) gives people with disabilities access to around 7,000 public toilets around the country.
  • Ninewells Hospital Scooters and lightweight wheelchairs can now be booked for use the hospital. Users first need to register and undergo training. More information and booking are available by phone on 01382645030 (Monday – Friday 8.30 – 4.30). There is no charge for the hire.
  • Shopmobility, Overgate Lane, Overgate Centre (behind Debenhams) DD1 1UF. Open Monday – Friday 9.15am – 4.15pm. Telephone (01382 228525) to book electric scooter, wheelchair or manual wheelchairs, with volunteer escort, if required. Also temporary home-loans of manual wheelchairs can be arranged. There are designated parking spaces available.
  • British Red Cross Manual wheelchairs can be hired from British Red Cross, 18 Reform St, Dundee. Phone 01382 223654.

  • Princess Royal Trust Carers Centre, Seagate House, 124 Seagate, Dundee, DD1 2HB. Phone 01382 200422, provides information and support for carers and people with disabilities. Open Monday – Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm.
